TWO Sheffield fundraisers are taking on a daring challenge to raise money for the British Red Cross - leaping out of a plane from 15,000 feet.

Marieke Mecks, aged 20, and Dilan Hama Saleh, also 20, are both from Germany and have been volunteering with the charity in the city.

The pair will be skydiving this weekend at Hibaldstow airfield, near Scunthorpe.

Marieke admitted she’s daunted by the prospect of the jump, but added: “I’ve always been an adrenaline junkie and enjoy doing crazy things.”
