A murder investigation is under way today after a young man was killed on a Sheffield street.
Police have arrested four people on suspicion of murder and are investigating the incident in which the victim appears to have died after being run over on the pavement.
The incident happened last night on Coleridge Road in Darnall and the street remains sealed off this morning.
A section of the road is under police guard and two large white tents have been put up at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “A car mounted a pavement on Coleridge Road and a man died as a result of that collision.”
A post mortem is due to take place today to establish exact cause of death. The man won’t be formally identified until after the post mortem.
