A Sheffield man who was last seen more than two weeks ago has started a police appeal for help.

Neil Slaney, aged 41, has not been seen since Monday, October 12 in the Sheffield Lane Top area of the city.

He was reported missing to police on Friday, October 16.

Neil is described as being around 5ft 10ins tall of slim build.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It is not known what Neil was wearing when he went missing but officers believe he may have been carrying a bag or rucksack.

“Neil’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and police would like to hear from anyone who may know where he is.

“Have you seen Neil? Please call 101 quoting incident number 672 of 16 October 2015.”
