SHEFFIELD X Factor star Lucy Spraggan could rejoin her fellow contestants on next year’s live tour – despite dropping out of the show.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter, from Stannington, was forced to pull out of the competition last weekend after missing two shows.
Host Dermot O’Leary told viewers Lucy was not well enough to perform and had decided to take herself out of the running, but show insiders say a spot on the tour will be held for her if she wants it.
Lucy, who writes her own songs, worked as a portrait seller in Sheffield before finding fame on ITV’s talent show.
Her mentor Tulisa Contostavlos said: “She’s an amazing person to work with.”
The tour comes to Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena, in Attercliffe, on Tuesday, February 12.
