A PROGRAMME of activities put together with the help of people living with dementia and their carers is being launched in Sheffield tomorrow.
Members of the Darnall branch of the Dementia Aware charity have created a ‘toolkit’ of activities to help people learn about the condition, and are unveiling the project at the Victoria Hall, Norfolk Street, from 11.30am.
The Big Lottery Fund donated money for the project, intended to be part of Sheffield Council’s aim to make the city ‘dementia-friendly’ by 2015.
