Sheffield kids join Great Yorkshire Run
HUNDREDS of children from across South Yorkshire proved no matter how small they stand, they certainly have big hearts.
Youngsters of all ages pulled on their trainers to take part in the Bupa Mini and Junior Great Yorkshire Runs at Don Valley Stadium yesterday.
Fun was the name of the game but there was also a very serious message for the dedicated runners who are helping to raise crucial for Leukaemia Research.
The 10 kilometre Great Yorkshire Run took place today and saw thousands of athletes, fun runners and celebrities racing through Sheffield city centre.
