Homeless charity Roundabout, which supports young people in Sheffield, has organised a sponsored sleep out to raise money.

The charity supports around 150 homeless young people every day and runs an emergency hostel for those aged between 16 and 21.

The sleep out is to be held on Thursday, November 6.

Fundraising Co-ordinator, Amy Casbolt, said: “We are asking our supporters to get sponsored to brave the cold winter night to help us raise money to provide a safe place for young people and prevent them from sleeping rough in the future.

“Of course an event like this cannot truly replicate what it is like to be lonely, frightened, cold and homeless but it can help to make a real difference.”
