The man heading up a multi-million pound housing regeneration programme in Sheffield is a former city graduate.
Tom Fenton, aged 38, began an urban land economics degree at Sheffield Hallam University 20 years ago and has now returned to run a project which will lead to 2,300 homes being built over the next 15 years.
He is project director with Sheffield Housing Company – a partnership between Sheffield Council, Keepmoat and Great Places, which will build new homes in seven city suburbs.
Mr Fenton said: “I had a great time here all those years ago and it’s fantastic to be back and see how much positive change there has been in the city while I’ve been away.
“I never dreamed I would get the chance to return in such a role which will have so much positive change and help add to these improvements.
“It was just too good an opportunity to miss.”
