SCHOOL pupils donned their gardening gloves and wellies to transform one of Sheffield’s best loved beauty spots.

Lynwood Gardens in Broomhall, is now in full bloom - thanks to green-fingered volunteers from the University of Sheffield’s Access to Dental Occupation – Practice and Tutoring scheme.

The scheme aims to widen access to the competitive field of dentistry, dental therapy and hygiene amongst pupils from under-represented backgrounds.

Year 13 students, from schools across Sheffield, restored and repaired the garden paths, steps and compost sites.
