COUNCIL bosses in Sheffield are urging the city’s Olympics Games Makers to come forward so ‘their achievements can be recognised’.

Sheffield Council is asking for people who live, work or study in the city, and who volunteered at the London 2012 Olympics or Paralympics, to get in touch.

Ben Brailsford, Sheffield 2012 delivery manager at the council, said: “The council is putting out an appeal for Sheffielders who were London 2012 Games Makers to come forward and identify themselves.
