A surge in support for the song followed an appearance on Channel 4s ‘The Last Leg’ show, prompting thousands of people to share and download the track, which is raising money for Age UK Sheffield and Sheltet.

Millions tuned in to see comedians Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker declare ‘Chip Pan’ the stand out song in this year’s race for the Christmas number one.

The song tells the tale of a man who sets his house alight after a night out drinking.

‘Chip Pan’ is available to download on iTunes, Google Play Music, Amazon or can be streamed on Spotify and Deezer.
