A family festival featuring horror, sci-fi and magic attractions is to return to Sheffield this year – but the popular Fright Night event will not.
Sheffield Council confirmed Out of This World, which made its debut in 2014, will return in October after a ‘successful’ first year which brought in thousands of people.
However it has been reduced from a weekend to a one day event on October 25.
The authority’s major events team is now looking for acts to take part.
Fright Night, which had become the biggest Halloween event of its kind, tooka break in 2014 after 13 years and is not returning in 2015.
A council spokesman said no decisions had yet been made about whether it would return in 2016 or in the future.
