A UNIVERSITY festival in Sheffield is set to return - after more than 14,000 people turned up to its events.
The first Festival of the Mind included free lectures, experiments and tours covering topics from zoology to philosophy.
It was organised by Sheffield University as a collaboration between academics and creative industries to showcase cultural strengths.
Prof Vanessa Toulmin, festival director, said: “We had more than 14,000 people come to the festival which is amazing.
“It is now going to be every two years, because the projects take a lot of planning.
“The comments we had from the public were incredible.”
