A NEW tractor has been loaned to a Sheffield farm to help educate youngsters.
Whirlow Hall Farm, Whirlow - where thousands of inner-city children learn about farming and food - has taken delivery of the machine from Agricultural Industrial Services.
Richard Aldis, farm manager, said: “We are delighted AIS has supported us in such an innovative way.
“The use of the tractor proves there are many ways in which companies can help charities like ours.”
The tractor will be on loan to the Whirlow Hall Farm for a year.
Laura Dickinson, AIS group marketing and promotions manager, said: “This machine is ideal for vineyard and horticulture use and we hope the farm benefits from its variety of functions.”
