A clothes shop has opened in a Sheffield suburb to raise cash for a charity which supports runaway children.

Charity Chicks opened its first store in Rotherham two years ago and has now opened a second in Hillsborough, with proceeds going to Safe@Last.

The new store, on Middlewood Road, sells used High Street and designer clothes, shoes and accessories donated by the charity’s supporters.

Safe@Last’s spokesman Hilary Massarella, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to open our second Charity Chicks boutique and be able to bring our unique brand and shopping experience to Sheffield.

“Charity Chicks is no ordinary charity shop. We concentrate on good quality items, stocking well loved pieces that people have donated to be loved again.”
