Staff at Ryegate Children’s Centre in Sheffield are to host a sports day at the city’s English Institute of Sport.
The Tapton based centre, which supports children with complex neurological disorders, is hosting the event on Sunday, April 10.
One of the aims of the event is to promote the range of sports and forms of exercise available in Sheffield.
The event is open to all children with physical disabilities, with sports activity organisations including wheelchair football and basketball, creative dance, race running and trampolining due to attend.
Organisers hope to increase participation in sport, raise aspirations, promote inclusion and help fulfil the potential of all young people through providing them with the opportunity to try different sports.
