SHEFFIELD Talking News, the charity which makes and sends audio recordings of local news to visually impaired people in Sheffield, is looking for a new secretary.
Following the death of the previous secretary just before Christmas, the Talking News is now looking for someone to join its team of around 50 volunteers, who help send out weekly digital recordings.
The secretary would need to attend a monthly committee meeting to take minutes, and send information to volunteers, as well as completing a few other basic tasks.
Most of the communications are now done through email, so some computer skills are needed.
Anyone interested can ring the organisation for an initial chat on 0114 236 6189.
