A GROUP of Sheffield Hallam University students raised more than £1,800 for cancer research with a day of charity activities.

As part of their course, the students held events in the city centre, Sheffield railway station and at Sainsbury’s on Archer Road in Millhouses, with proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care.

Sheffield businesses including Mr Bens Costume Shop, Steel City Cakes and confectioners Crumbs helped out.
