A brave Sheffield charity boss is preparing to plunge 10,000ft during a sponsored skydive on Saturday.
Sinead McHugh-Hicks, regional director at Sheffield-based Dimensions, is taking the leap to raise money for the not-for-profit organisation that supports people with learning disabilities.
She hopes to raise £500, which will enable Dimensions to enhance support provided and fund projects including sports activities, assistive technology and respite.
Sinead said: “I’ve always wanted to skydive but never actually plucked up the courage to sign up – I’m excited but also very nervous now.
“I was inspired to take part because I see the people we support overcome challenges all of the time and I think that pushing my own boundaries is the least I can do in order to continue the great work the organisation does.”
