Air cadets from Sheffield faced a tough challenge alongside dozens of other youngsters when they took part in a 50-mile walking challenge over two days.

Connor Recknell and Jack Barraclough, both aged 16 of 370 Squadron Air Training Corps in Southey Green, received medals for completing the RAF Walking and Road Marching Association walk in Shropshire. Jack said: “It’s by far the best achievement in my life.”
