When it comes to charity, you can bank on staff at Lloyds Bank, Church Street, Sheffield city centre, who did their bit to mark the branch’s 100th birthday. Manager Nora Cussens helped organise a week-long Alzheimer’s awareness drive, and they invited David Blunkett, MP for Sheffield Brightside and Hillsborough – pictured above with Nora and Leo Mabbott of Lloyds – visit.

Mr Blunkett said: “This is an incredibly good cause and both raising funds for our local Alzheimer’s Society and awareness as part of the national dementia awareness programme, is vital.”
