AN ADVERTISING agency has become the second firm to relocate to business units at Sheffield’s newly-refurbished Park Hill flats.

Über, which employs 26 people and has an annual turnover of about £4.6 million, has decided to move from Attercliffe.

The company will join design agency Human at the site – Human was the first business to announce a move to Park Hill, in December 2012.

Developer Urban Splash is offering business units from 500 sq feet to 30,000 sq feet. Über will occupy 3,963 sq feet over three floors and Human 1,103 sq feet of office space across two floors.

Greg Clark, Über joint managing director, said: “We want an office that offers us a better location, but doesn’t take away our soul. We want an office that gives us better facilities.

“After a search that began in January, there was only one place that offered Über all of these things – Park Hill.

“Everyone in Sheffield has an opinion about Park Hill and to me that’s great. We are not moving to some bland building no-one has heard of or cares about.

“We are moving to one of, if not, the most important structures in Sheffield.”

Paul Jones, Urban Splash commercial agency surveyor, said: “This is great news and we are delighted to welcome Über to Park Hill. We will now have two leading companies from the creative sector in place by Easter.

Über has been based on Windsor Street since 2003. Its new home will have open-plan studios enclosed by glass, exposed concrete and wood.
