The largest women’s institute in South Yorkshire has raised money for charity by organising a Christmas market.

Sheffield-based Seven Hills WI raised £368 at the market at Electric Works, off Sheaf Street. The money will go to the WI’s charity of the year, the Young Women’s Housing Project.

Jennifer Marden, Seven Hills WI vice-president, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported the event and our super-talented members for baking cakes.”
