A MAN was seriously injured after his car left a Doncaster road in the early hours of Sunday.
The red Peugeot 207 was driving along Doncaster Road, Stainforth, from the direction of Barnby Dun, when the driver is believed to have lost control and the car left the carriageway, before ending up in a field.
A police spokesman said: “The car then rolled numerous times and came to rest on it side.”
The driver of the Peugeot, who was 23-year-old man from Chippenham in Wiltshire, suffered life-threatening head injuries.
Firefighters were called and helped paramedics free the man from the car.
He was taken by ambulance to Doncaster Royal Infirmary, where has given emergency treatment.
