Send us YOUR videos, audio, photos and comments - here's how!

SEND us your photos, videos, audio clips and comments – we'll publish a selection online and in The Star.

Video clips by email or mobile phone should be no more than 10-seconds. They can be longer if posted to us on a disc, as instructed below.

Remember to always give at least your full name and contact details, PLUS basic information about the photo, video or audio recording – including who, what, where and when.

You must be the copyright holder of the photo, video or audio clip.

E-mail: In the subject field, indicate what you are attaching with a prefix of either PHOTO, VIDEO or AUDIO. In the event of various file attachments, write MULTI MEDIA. Then give a brief description, of no more than five words. Attach photos as a jpegs, short video clips in any popular file format and audio clips as MP3s. Email to staronline@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk

Text: Take a photo OR record a video clip, maximum 10 seconds, on your mobile phone. Then send it by MMS to STARPICS - leave a space, followed by your full name, photo or video details, and send to 07786 200 055.

Texts cost 60p plus your standard network charge. This will be charged to your mobile phone bill. Get the bill payer's permission.

Post: Send photos as prints or on a disc as jpeg files. Video clips can also be sent on a disc, in any popular file format, or put them on a DVD or VHS video tape. Clips sent this way can be longer than 10-seconds. Audio files can also be sent on a disc as MP3s. Send photos in hard backed envelopes and discs or video tapes in padded packets. Indicate on the front what's inside, either PHOTO, VIDEO, AUDIO or, in the event of various media, write MULTI MEDIA. Then post to Readers' UGC, Digital Editor, The Star, York Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S1 1PU.

Upload: You cannot upload photos or videos to our web site, yet. We're working on it. But you can upload comments. First register with us - see details on the web page where you want to comment. Then upload your view, to be published immediately on the end of the story you wish to comment on. Comments will be monitored and inappropriate remarks will be removed. Please be considerate.

Links: If you've uploaded a video clip to a social network site for everyone to see, such as You Tube, then send us the link. We can hyperlink to that in relevant news and sports stories. Include your full name, contact and video details, then email to staronline@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk
