ISN’T cute canine Baxter the very picture of Christmas?
The adorable dog – and his green and red festive wear – were submitted by Mosborough owners Clare and Rob Parkin for entry into The Star’s Christmas Crackers supplement.
His picture could now net the pair a little extra boost this Christmas as a public vote will decide three winners of some top high street prizes.
Entries of festively decorated houses, dressed kids and pets have been coming in thick and fast for the special publication.
All images submitted before the deadline at midnight tomorrow will feature in the dedicated pull-out.
There will then be a public vote to decide a winner in each category to each take home a £30 Boots voucher and a tin of tasty chocolates donated by Asda.
All photographs must be sent in to us by midnight tomorrow to feature in the supplement.
Emma Angell, regional promotions manager for Sheffield Newspapers, said: “We’re hoping to see hundreds of houses covered in festive lights, cats dressed as Santa Claus and the cutest Christmas kids from all across South Yorkshire submitted by readers.
“It’s an opportunity for people to really show off their fun side and creativity.
“There are also prizes to be won which will go towards making Christmas go with a bang this year for our lucky winners.”
Pictures of festively decorated homes are particularly wanted – so send us your snaps of snowmen in the garden and trees heaving with decorations to have a chance of winning.
To enter your pictures email email@example.com by midnight on Wednesday December 12.
Images can also be dropped off for our promotions team at The Star offices on York Street, Sheffield.
