Organisers of Miss England are looking for a contestant to represent South Yorkshire in next year’s competition.
The South Yorkshire winner will be represented by Sheffield’s DK Model management, one of Yorkshire’s leading model agencies, for the year and receive a portfolio to start her modelling career .
A spokeswoman for Miss England said: “Young ladies from the whole of South Yorkshire aged 17 to 24 are now being invited to enter the heat now.
“As part of the competition the contestants who reach the final will be invited to raise funds for the Miss World charity – www.beautywithapurpose.com – a charity which helps disadvantaged children throughout the world.
“In the last three years, Miss England has raised in excess of £500,000 – most of the funds being donated by the Variety children’s charity for much needed equipment.”
South Yorkshire entrants will be judged at the Hilton Hotel, Victoria Quays, on Sunday, April 6 next year.
