A SUMMER fair organised by parents of children at a Sheffield school has raised £3,800.

The event was held at Mosborough Primary School - and the fundraising total was helped along by a donation from opticians Specsavers, at Crystal Peaks, which gave £200 to cover the cost of hiring two bouncy castles and a bouncy slide.

Judie Booth, a parent governor and vice chair of the Mosborough Primary Group, which organised the fair, said: “Specsavers made a very kind donation to the event and we are always grateful for its continued support.”

Specsavers store director Gil Vasey said: “The Mosborough Primary Group raised a fantastic amount through the summer fair and we are delighted that our donation contributed to the successful event.”
