Half way through though, he states that it takes a tonne of greenhouse gas to get an aviation passenger from Britain to Spain. Lots of us take this trip so this is a very scary figure. A few clicks on the great God Google comes up with something less than 10 per cent of this figure.
Now, I don’t for one minute put this forward as conclusive, especially as I have no expertise in this area. Perhaps David could show us how that figure is arrived at, or someone out there with greater expertise than me, could put us all right.
