Eight-year-old Sam Askham, of Barnsley, gets in a spin in the St Luke’s Hospice Cyclone Game Cube at Meadowhall.

The aim of the game is to catch as many flying coloured balls as you can before the fan stops, to win a prize.

Each turn costs £1 and the proceeds went to St Luke’s Hospice, which is Meadowhall’s charity of the year for 2014.

The person with the highest score at the end of each day last weekend was entered into an annual prize draw.
