Safety advice for parents

POLICE are running a course to teach parents about online safety in a bid to help keep children safe when using the Internet.

The event, which is free, will be held ay the Lifewise Centre, Kea Park Close, Hellaby, Rotherham, on Tuesday, September 11, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Advice on how to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of fraud online will also be given out.

The Lifewise Centre is used by South Yorkshire Police and the fire service to promote public and community safety.
