CYCLISTS are being challenged to saddle up for a tough ride through the Peak District for children’s charity Action Medical Research.
There is a choice of a 100-mile or a shorter 100km route from the HSBC Sports Club at Dore, Sheffield, on Sunday, June 10.
A charity spokesman said: “Both distances promise awe-inspiring views as riders tour the beautiful national park. Challenging climbs include the back side of Mam Tor.”
The event has chip timing, food and water stations, lunch, massage, and mechanics. For details about the event, which costs £50, visit www.action.org.uk/peak_district_100
