A SHEFFIELD running group has organised a sponsored off-road run to raise money for a city charity.
The Crystal Peaks Runners will be meeting at Eckington Secondary School on Dronfield Road at 10am on Sunday, September 30, for the run.
Club members, who are all from Sheffield and surrounding area, will then be running 10K through the Moss Valley area.
Anyone is welcome to join in and a sponsorship form can be downloaded from the group’s website www.crystalpeaks-runners.co.uk so money can be collected.
Money raised from the run will be donated Amy’s House, a Sheffield respite home that cares for children with special needs.
Amy’s House was set up by Maurice and Meriel Littlewood after they experienced first-hand the lack of facilities available for families of children with special needs.
