LONG-suffering residents in Crookes have been complaining about an overflowing trade waste bin on their road.
It’s been there for a month and now the blue dumpster is propped open by takeaway trash.
Nigel Couldwell, aged 90, of Loxley View Road, said he and others repeatedly contacted Veolia and the council to get something done.
He said: “It’s unsightly and unhygienic.”
It turns out the bin belongs to another firm, PHS.
A PHS spokesman said it was sited at a Chinese takeaway but somehow got moved on to the street. But no one had called them.
It had been emptied by PHS as a goodwill gesture, she added.
