RSPCA Sheffield facing dire financial constraints

Today more than ever the RSPCA Sheffield Branch, also known as the Sheffield Animal Centre, needs the support of the Sheffield people.

Through the Sheffield media, we have received a great deal of valuable support from local people for many years – however, we are facing dire financial constraints.

We are one of 169 RSPCA branches around the country that are separate charities responsible for our own finances and operation.

The Sheffield Animal Centre is recognised as one of the best in the country. It provides excellent facilities for rehoming and treatment of animals and is something we are very proud of.

However, since its relocation to Attercliffe four years ago, we have never been able to operate to full capacity and recently the situation has deteriorated. We have reached the stage were we are seriously looking at reducing the number of animals we can help – which is why we are making this appeal to you today.
