A SHEFFIELD animal charity is appealing for more help as it prepares to mark its 140th anniversary.

The RSPCA Sheffield branch is looking for experienced and enthusiastic people to volunteer and expand its team of trustees.

Roles include treasurer, fundraising co-ordinator, volunteer co-ordinator and someone who can help to oversee maintenance at its animal centre in Stadium Way, Attercliffe, and community memorial garden in Attercliffe.

Kathryn Whitlam, branch chairman, said: “We have a wonderful team of trustees who form the rock-bed of our charity, but it is important we create chances for more people to bring their experience to the mix.
