IT wasn’t just the youngsters having fun at Wisewood Primary School’s Royal Wedding street party...
Parents, teachers and helpers also joined in and enjoyed themselves at the event, which was held in the school’s playground.
And it was a right royal fashion parade.
Fancy hats were the order of the day for many of the partygoers when they arrived for the big bash at the school, on Ben Lane, which had been decorated with red, white and blue balloons.
Some of the partygoers - and not just the young ones - were also wearing large St George’s and Union Jack flags around their necks and draped over their shoulders. There were also colourful sashes and bows on show.
As well as tucking into party food, the fun involved face painting and games.
