Princess Anne is visiting Barnsley today.

The Princess Royal will visit three venues during her trip to South Yorkshire.

She is set to visit the Barnsley Riding for the Disabled on Pontefract Road, as she is patron of the association.

After that, the Princess is due to officially open the new premises of the Barnsley and District Citizens Advice Bureau on Shambles Street and join in celebrations for its 50th anniversary.

Her final stop will be Horizon Community College, where she will officially open the building by unveiling a plaque and signing its guest book.
