A caring group of employees is getting into the festive spirit, all in the name of charity.
Rotherham-based travel operator Leger Holidays, has entered a team of nine staff members to join hundreds of fundraisers for Rotherham Hospice’s annual Santa Dash.
The team will be wrapping up for the one-mile race at Clifton Park on December 14, complete with full Santa suits, boots and beards.
It’s the first time the travel operator has entered the dash and the team are said to be training hard in the run up to the festive fun-run.
Huw Williams, marketing director at Leger Holidays, said: “Christmas time is about giving to others - we wanted to do our bit this festive season and Rotherham Hospice is an extremely worthwhile charity, giving so much to the local community and families in their times of need.
“The ‘Sleger’ team is made up of staff from across the company and it’s great to see them all come together for such a brilliant cause.
“We’re enjoying seeing them training - who knew it was so hard to run dressed as Father Christmas - and wish them the best of luck for the race.
“We’ll be cheering them on and encouraging them to raise as much as possible for the charity.”
