“Enquiries continue in an effort to establish how he sustained these injuries and his death is being treated as unexplained.
Officers were called to a large semi detached property in Hollowgate at about 7.30am on Thursday, where it is believed the man lived.
His body had been found by another occupant of the property at the back of the house.
The man is due to be formally identified later on today.
