Spreading the reduce, reuse and recycling message was a very special guest at Isle primary schools.
North Lincolnshire Council’s Recycling Robot visited Belton All Saints’, St Norbert’s Catholic in Crowle and Owston Ferry’s St Martin’s primary schools, engaging pupils in workshops.
Councillor Nigel Sherwood said: “Going into schools and educating children is a great way of helping to increase recycling rates in North Lincolnshire. They always seem to take on board what has been said and go home and talk to their parents about it, which educates them about the importance of recycling. The Recycler Robot is a fun way for children to learn.”
