Roadworks warning for city drivers

Roadworks taking place around Sheffield this week have been revealed.

Attercliffe Common will have a temporary lane closure at the junction with Broughton Lane for highway works between 7am on Thursday and 5am on Friday.

Constable Road, Gleadless Valley, will have temporary stop-go boards at the junction of Blackstock Road for telecoms works until Wednesday.

Daresbury Road, Arbourthorne, will also have stop-go boards for telecoms works today and tomorrow.

Meanwhile, there will be temporary signals on Ecclesfield Road, at Woolley Wood, between Wincobank and Ecclesfield, between 9.30am and 3.30pm until Friday, for construction of a pedestrian crossing.

Mill Lee Road, Low Bradfield, will have temporary traffic signals for electricity works on Thursday.

More telecoms works mean temporary stop-go boards on Moonshine Lane, and Southey Hill, Southey, until Wednesday.

Onslow Road, Hunters Bar, will be temporarily closed at the junction with Rustlings Road, from tomorrow until March 6 for gas main work.

Solly Street, near West Bar, will be temporarily one-way until Friday for drainage works.

There will be stop-go boards on Stannington Road at the junction of Deer Park Road, Liberty Hill, Nelson Road and Wellington Road, Stannington, for telecoms works, until February 31.
