Work to improve road safety by installing new pedestrian crossings in two areas of Sheffield is due to begin next week.
The first scheme will be on High Storrs Road, High Storrs, between Ringinglow Road and High Storrs Close, to put in a puffin crossing to provide safer access to the school.
Temporary traffic signals will be used during the work, with some side road closures.
The scheme begins on Monday and is due to take eight weeks.
The second project will be on Firth Park Road, near Vivian Road, where Sheffield Council’s North East Community Assembly asked for pedestrian crossing facilities and other safety measures.
Work begins on Monday and will take five weeks, using temporary signals and some Sunday road closures when needed.
