A road which was closed after a huge lorry blaze in South Yorkshire has re-opened this morning.

The blaze, involving a lorry carrying hay, broke out on the A57, close to the Todwick Roundabout, yesterday afternoon.

It caused chaos for motorists after the road was closed while firefighters extinguished the flames and a clean-up operation was mounted.

The road is now open as normal.
