Road crash woman ‘critical’ in Sheffield hospital

A 53-YEAR-OLD pedestrian was left in a critical condition after a road traffic collision.

The woman was taken to Northern General Hospital, Sheffield after suffering serious injuries in a collision involving a Fiat Punto at around 7.55pm on Saturday.

The incident took place near to the Bridge Inn pub in Sheffield Road, Dronfield, Derbyshire. The road was closed in both directions for around four hours.

The woman’s condition was described as ‘critical’ and she remains in hospital.
