Ringinglow's Great Outdoors Family Fair - PICTURES
EVERYTHING from trying out Britain's largest climbing wall to mountain biking – a taste of the great outdoors and a few more leisurely activities – were on offer at a charity event at a Sheffield pub.
The Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow, held a Great Outdoors Family Fair.
As well as getting physical yesterday, people could learn country crafts such as dry stone walling or how to make tools, wood carvings, swords, bows and bowls, try circus skills, or look at cute lambs and alpacas.
There was also live jazz, face painting, football, guided walks around the surrounding countryside, plus displays of produce from nearby farms.
The day culminated in a balloon race, launched by Sheffield-based Britain's Got Talent dancer Sophie Mei.
The event was held to raise money for Whirlow Hall Farm, the Shepherds Wheel restoration project and Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice appeal.
