A selection of comments on The Star website after Saturday’s matches.

Devonwiseowl: I do feel that DJ (Dave Jones) hasn’t exactly been given major resources to play with, but there are lots of managers who do very well on limited resources. DJ’s record in player recruitment has been rubbish. He is now fielding his team, not Gary Megson’s and that’s what many of us are judging him on.

Gerimo: To be honest I couldn’t care less who the manager is,but I believe in supporting him when he is in charge. As manager of Wednesday has got to have one of the most difficult jobs in football and I can’t see the point of changing the manager all the time.

Ratho1: Well we (Sheffield United) know how to pass the ball. We know where the goal is, witness the number of attempts. What we need to do next is miss the bodies that are in the way and the goalkeeper’s hands. Simple really. Lessons must start or we’ll never win another match.

Wakey Blade: I really cant see where the goals are going to come from and we all know goals win games! On these results its sure going to be L1 next season, maybe L2!
