REVIEW: Latin Fever at Peacock Theatre, West End - VIDEO

I'VE been tangoed! Or, as Len Goodman might say, seduced – by the smouldering dance routines, rhythms, colour and fun of Latin Fever.

Strictly Come Dancing's king and queen Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova have nothing left to prove.

Yet here, in their West End debut headline show, they confirm their status as possibly the greatest Latin dance couple ever.

It's a passionate, flirty, spectacular, with their own unique and highly imaginative interpretations of all the Latin disciplines, including samba, paso doble, jive, salsa and mambo.

But it's their Argentine tango that will take your breath away. Erotic, bold and seriously sexy, this courtship performance is not only the highlight of the show – it's probably the best dance routine you will ever see. It's worth the ticket money for this alone.

Forget the celebrity-pro television show, as good as it is. Darren and Lilia dancing together are in a league of their own. And this is as good as it gets.

Strictly fans should hot-foot it along to the West End before this short season ends, on June 28.

In the words of Craig Revel Horwood: "FAB-U-LOUS".
