A charity which support Sheffield’s youths has had a makeover at its headquarters.
Sheffield Futures has revamped its base on Division Street in the city centre to provide a one-stop-shop for support services both it and partner agencies deliver.
Operations Manager Lynne Hilson said: “Our centre is very busy and supports a whole range of clients who access a wide range of services.
“The services on offer have now grown in number to include the Youth Justice Service and Permanence and Through Care to name just two. It is now a hub to support young people into education, employment and training, or those in need of help with any personal issues life throws at them.”
The new-look centre was officially launched by Sheffield Council’s Executive Director of Children and Young People Services, Jayne Ludlam.
She said: “With so many essential services under one roof, this one-stop-shop approach is a must for the young people we seek to help. This all-service centre and the wonderful job Sheffield Futures has done in updating this space for young people - is to be applauded.”
