CELEBRATIONS were held to mark completion of a £16,000 facelift at a Sheffield community facility.
St Paul’s Church and Community Hall, on Wordsworth Avenue, Parson Cross, now has new windows, electrics and flooring following the four-month refurbishment, which was made possible thanks to funding from Sheffield Homes.
A celebratory coffee morning was held at the hall once work had finished so people from around the area could see the transformation.
The hall is a focal point for community activity, with around 300 people currently using it every week.
It hosts groups including St Paul’s Mothers’ Union, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Leathercraft Group, African Church, an after school club and dancing classes.
